Fenced up for Damon Braces!

Life has been normal. Ups and down here and there. 

Still have another month to go with internshit (yes, I meant to spell it that way :P)

My internship place is cool. At least we don't always stuck in the office and got our asses wider. LOL

But.

That isn't what I am here for. 

About three weeks ago, I had made a life-changing decision. It was my life-long dream to do it but somehow I had been postponed it for years.

Braces!

Yes, I'm a bracist (yes, bracist :P) now. Trust me, even I had a hard time to believe that I wear braces. I guess that's what happened when you finally got what you been dreaming for so long. 

I'm still a newbie in this braces thing. Still adjusting to it. Learning how to eat properly with it. One thing for sure, you have to give up some foods once you wear braces. The first few days I started to wear braces I only had fish, porridge, half-boiled eggs, and soups. I couldn't chew much so I used (still use) my tongue to chew (if that makes any sense to you) and then swallow. Also, I'm still learning how to talk and smile with braces on. I tend to mumble when I speak cause I got lazy to open my mouth. Smile? Hahaha! All I got is a creepy smile cause I can no longer smile with my mouth closed. So I have to show off my braces which will end up as if I was grinning. Very attractive looking LOL.

Why I wear braces?

The reason is simple. I need it. If you knew me personally you know how my upper and lower teeth look like. They are over-crowded and crooked. Though some of my friends told me they loved my natural teeth and said that I have my own smile and it will be lost if I wore braces, I don't care. One thing other people won't understand is they think people wear braces just to follow trend. Although half of it is true, but in my case, I need it and I'm doing it for myself. Even so, I could never run away from that question 'why', just when I thought I have a strong, valid and obvious reason. People will always, always ask why. 

Where I did it?

After made my research from the internet. Reading every comments in braces forum in Lowyat, I decided to get my treatment at WhileSmile Orthodontic Dental Clinic with Dr.Reuben How. I'm doing damon type braces since they don't offer traditional metal braces. It's a little expensive, but thank God for a student package they have! Here is the price list (that I can remember) for the student package:

Consultation fee - Free

Examination (mold, xray) - Rm350

Deposit - Rm700

Monthly payment - Rm350

Extraction - Rm80/tooth

Minor surgery - Rm700

Retainer - Free

Still, for a forever-always-broke student like me, the commitment you have to give is pretty tough. But I love the environment there. Everyone in the clinic is friendly and gentle, they make you feel comfortable. You know how scary a dental clinic can be right? So yeah, that is the biggest factor. Sometimes it is not about getting the cheapest price :)

I'll Start To Write Again

I have a lot to update, but I just can't seem to get the point of sharing them here (Read as: too lazy to write). It seems like I'm losing my muse to write. The only time I feel like writing is when I sad and people don't want to know sad stories. 

So here is the list of good things that happened so far:

1. Another best friend's wedding!

2. My friend just gave birth on December to a baby girl!

3. My brother got married!

4. My sister got married!

5. I finallyyyy got my license done! (after being forced by everybody. haha)

6. Now I'm in the final semester of my degree.

Hey. That's quite a number of good things. You see, how easily people forgot the good memories they had whenever bad things happened. 

February is coming to an end. March comes and I'll be starting my internship until June. A part from that, I have a research paper to be done. Gahhh. I hope I had all the strength to go thru all of this. I never had any work experience and my biggest fear is that I'm not able to keep up and do the work given. As for the research paper, my supervisor is the one that I most fear among other lecturers. LOL

Oh, well. This is life.

Keputusan

Exam result keluar semalam. 

Email dapat lebih kurang jam 2.50pagi.

Hurm.

Yeayy! Bersyukur sangat sebab tak sangka. Sebab aku main main gila sem lepas. Tapi bila evaluate balik rasa ada sesetengah subjek yang patut aku skor lagi bagus. (ceh. dah malas siapa suruh)

So yeah, alhamdulillah. 

Yang penting, semester depan dah masuk final year!

Castration.

Hey guys. 

Just wanna talk about castration on cats. 

I know, I know, there are a lot of debates regarding this issue especially among the Muslims. But tell you what, I'd done some research about it and I have my reasons which I don't think it is necessary to tell them here. So yes, me and my sister had decided to do it on Mi'minique. It was a hard decision but, it is for the best. And to be honest, now I don't have any regrets for making such decision. 

It's been a month plus since the operation and Mi'minique is happier than ever. We all are. Less stress for both sides and he is getting more 'gedik' and 'manja' than he has ever been. He's been eating a lot as well. People said it is due to the fact that they no longer have their desire to mating so the desire is shifted to eating. Don't know if it's true or not though :P
